Rules of Play

  1. A Dealer button will be offered to all eligible Designated Players at the table. Ultimate Texas Hold’em is played with a Standard Deck containing 52 Plastic Playing Cards.
  2. Rake will be taken from the Designated Player’s Bank accordingly depending on the total amount of wagers placed. (See rake chart posted on table). All wagers must be made in whole dollars.
  3. The players must post a minimum “ANTE” wager and a minimum “BLIND” wager. Both the Ante and Blind Wagers must be equal. The player may post an additional bonus odds wager called the “Trips Bet.”
  4. The player may post an additional bonus wager called “Pocket Bonus”. It pays based on the player's hole cards. Pay tables will be posted on the table.
  5. With the initial deal, 5 Community Cards will be spread across the middle of the table and each player, including the Designated Player, will be dealt two cards.
  6. Players may inspect their hand and then choose from the following options:
    A. Check the hand
    B. Bet 3x the Ante Bet (Play Bet)
    C. Bet 4x the Ante bet (Play Bet)
  7. Three community cards will be turned over in the middle of the table (Flop). The players then will choose from the following options:
    A. Check the hand
    B. Bet 2x the Ante bet (Play Bet)
  8. The last two community cards will be turned over in the middle of the table (Turn & River). The players will then choose from the following options:
    A. Fold - A player that folds their hand will lose the Ante and Blind Wagers, but will remain eligible for the optional Trips Bet, if wagered.
    B. Bet 1x the Ante bet (Play Bet)
  9. If a player chooses to bet, they will place their cards under the play bet.
  10. The Designated Player qualifies to play with a minimum hand of a pair or better.
  11. When the Designated Player does not hold a qualifying hand, the Ante Bet will receive no action and be pushed back to the Player.
  12. The Blind wager shall receive action and shall win if player’s hand is higher than that of the Designated Player and the player has a hand of a straight or better. It shall lose if the Designated Player’s hand is higher than that of the player. If the player’s hand is higher than that of the Designated Player, but the player’s hand is not a straight or higher, the Blind wager shall push. It shall also push if the Designated Player and the player have equal ranking hands.
  13. The Play wager shall receive action and shall win and be paid 1 to 1 if the player’s hand ranks higher than the Designated Player’s hand. It shall lose if the Designated Player’s hand ranks higher than the player’s hand. It shall push if the hands are of equal rank.
  14. The Trips wager shall receive action if the player’s hand contains any hand of 3 of a kind or better. Pay table for the Optional Trips Bet will be on the layout.
  15. Players can play multiple consecutive betting spots in the blind and will require a wager of at least 1x in the play circle prior to the cards being dealt. The house reserves the right to limit players to one betting spot. A folded hand can still play for the Pair plus, must be tucked under bet.

Pocket Bonus

  • Pair of Aces 30 to 1
  • Ace King Suited 25 to 1
  • AQ or AJ Suited 20 to 1
  • Ace King Unsuited 15 to 1
  • KK, QQ, JJ 10 to 1
  • AQ or AJ Unsuited 5 to 1
  • 10's thru 2's 3 to 1

The Designated Player Requirements:

Must provide $30,000 per table for initial operational start up and maintain $30,000 in play per hand.

Per Florida Regulation 61D-11.002(5)(b):  In 3-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Holdem,Fortune Pai Gow, and One Card Poker the dealer button will rotate around the table in a clockwise fashion on a hand by hand basis to provide each player desiring to the designated player an equal opportunity to participate as the designated player.

60. Per Florida Regulation 61D-11.002(5)(c): In 3-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Holdem,2 Card Poker, and One Card Poker, the room does not require the designated player to cover all potential wagers.
